Chocolate Mug Cake (Kaufmann Diet Friendly)
I had a blast making this amazing chocolate Mug Cake (Kaufmann Diet Friendly) on On CBS Morning News. It’s gluten and sugar free and also free of grains. What You Will Need for Chocolate Mug Cake
- 2 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tbsp tapioca flour
- 3 tbsp monk fruit
- 3 tbsp sugar free chocolate chips (I used Lily’s MILK CHOCOLATE chips (not dark) they are sweetened with stevia
- 2 tbsp grass fed butter
- 3 tbsp coconut milk
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- dash of salt
Making A Healthy 90 Second Chocolate Mug Cake On CBS Great Day Live
Instructions
- Melt butter and set aside.
- Mix all dry ingredients in your mug and stir well.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
- Microwave for 90 seconds and enjoy!
- Note – this tastes even better topped with almond milk whipped cream and strawberries.

Chocolate Mug Cake (Kaufmann Diet Friendly)
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Almond flour
- 1 tbsp Tapioca flour
- 3 tbsp Monk fruit
- 3 tbsp Chocolate chips (I used Lily's MILK CHOCOLATE - not dark chips sweetened with stevia to keep it sugar free)

I made this tonight at a trial run for Thanksgiving. My niece and I are GF. I am also dairy and sugar free, This is so rich and the perfect amount of sweet! I used 3 packets of monk fruit sweetener as I couldn’t find it in a bag in our local store. I have now ordered from amazon. Thank you!!!
Hi Christine! Yes, it’s extremely rich..in fact, now I only do half the recipe if it’s just me eating it. I love it with whipped cream on top. Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂 Xylitol works too instead of monk fruit…
As a Type 2 diabetic, if would be a Hugh help to me, if you could print the nutritional value for each recipe. I would love to make this for desert.
