Homemade Tortillas...And Falling Off The Wagon
Recipe type: Breakfast
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup tapioca flour
  • Pinch Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp warm water + 1 tsp (If you like paper thin tortillas you can add a bit more water until it's slightly runny rather than dough-like)
  • Makes about 4-5 tortillas
  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl as you are warming up your tortilla maker. Your mixture should be a nice dough consistency. Spray tortilla maker with coconut oil or nonstick olive oil spray. Separate into 3 balls and place on tortilla maker one at a time. Press down for approximately 15-20 seconds. Remove and you are done! Store in zip lock bag in the fridge until ready to use.
  2. Picture does not reflect the chia seeds I ended up adding for additional nutrition and better texture.
