Video: What My Teenage Son Eats in a Day

April 14, 2019 by Erin Porter Leave a Comment

Hi everyone!  It seems almost impossible for teenagers to eat healthy with the sheer amount of temptation they face daily.  My son is no exception! This video is not about how perfect my son eats everyday.  It’s also not about how he only eats organic fruits and vegetables and never binges on sugar because this is not the case.   Instead its about certain ways I combat the sometimes “bad” meals with some powerful daily habits.  Some people may look at this video and say it was too much meat in one day, or too much rice and I would maybe agree, but even as adults we find it difficult to eat perfectly day in and day out.  This was a typical day and I wanted to show that we don’t have to throw our hands up thinking there is nothing we can do, even if we suspect our kids are eating skittles by the bag full once they leave the house.

I forgot to mention in the video that he takes a few supplements besides the colostrum  (click here for the brand I trust). I give him a good probiotic, beta glucan, and sometimes fish oil and magnesium.   The fact that I was on antibiotics for 7 months of my pregnancy make the probiotics and the colostrum crucial! Enjoy the video.

About Me

I have been fortunate enough to have been featured on national Television including PBS American Health Journal and Know the Cause, God TV, Christian Television Network and more. If you have any chronic disease that has not responded to traditional medicine there is often one cause that is often overlooked. This was the case for me and until I found my "cause" I would stay sick for decades. I am interested in sharing information on how to heal not only physically but emotionally as well. I have a degree in photography and besides my passion for photographing food, my other loves are my family, writing, helping others, and creating new healthy recipes. All of which gets to be played out by having EPGW. I am blessed to be living out my purpose! continue →
